LGCA-PPI: A Local-Global Context Aware Viral-Host Protein-Protein Interaction Predictor makes use of novel local and global residue context aware encoding to generate a rich statistical representation of protein sequences and a deep forest model to surpass state-of-the-art viral-host PPI prediction performance over 3 different benchmark datasets by a decent margin. LGCA-PPI web interface supports multi-dimensional analysis of protein sequences, training and optimizing the machine learning model from scratch, using models pre-trained on proteins belonging to multiple virus species to make inference on new protein sequences, and download interactive artifacts during the lifetime of session.
